Illinois, and he completed medical school at University of Illinois, Chicago. His internship and residency were at
University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics. He has a fellowship from the University of Washington and specializes
in the care and treatment of the foot and ankle. Since 1998 he was Asst. Professor of Clinical Orthopedics, Dir. of
Foot and Ankle Services, at UC, San Diego. He held similar posts at Northwestern and University of Chicago. He has
an extensive academic background in instruction, research and publications. He is a Diplomate of the American Board
of Orthopaedic Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle
