Dr. Veneziano Profile

Dr. Veneziano is originally from New England. He obtained his undergraduate training at Providence College and then completed medical school at New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY. He remained in New York completing internship and residency at the New York Medical College, Westchester Medical Center and St. Vincent Catholic Medical Centers, Manhattan Programs.

During residency, he worked as an assistant team physician for professional hockey team, the New York Rangers. After residency, he moved to Washington, DC where he received intensive training in Sports Medicine and arthroscopic surgery at the Georgetown University Hospital/Nirschl Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Joint Reconstruction Clinic. There, he was responsible for the care of local high school and college athletes, and trained with the team physician for the NFL’s Washington Redskins. Dr. Veneziano sees patients for general orthopedic problems and injuries, and specializes in sports injuries.

    Dr. V. listened to me describe my hip problem which he had treated before. He ordered x rays and compared new films to old. Explained what he saw and administered treatment f.or my hip during my visit. Recommended another just in 6 months. Good doctor all the way around.

    Dr Veneziano has been treating my knees for the last two years . He is very caring, , thorough and responds to my concerns patiently. He has been performing the Hyoranic Acid / gel injections on my knees with the utmost care with very minimal of discomfort. I highly recommend him.

    I saw Dr. Veneziano for a cortisone shot to my hip. I found him friendly and thorough. He explained everything he was going to do and what I should expect after the shot. I was seen earlier than my appointment and was out within 15 minutes.
