I am an older patient who, although suffering many years from partial arthritis, has been a fairly active person all my life. After returning from a cross country flight to Houston, I began to experience an unbearable pain that left me bedside for almost a week. It was then that I had the good fortune to have found Dr. Bryce A. Johnson.

Today, two months after my surgery on May 27th , a minimally invasive fusion, I am feeling once again like a new person. More than performing the surgery required, I am especially thankful to Dr. Johnson for the time he spent with me both prior to the operation and during my recovery. In all circumstances taking his time to explain to me exactly what was happening or was to happen and understand the effects I might be feeling. In the two weeks after the operation I must have called him four times and on each occasion he returned my call, took time to visit with me, and reach out so that I knew there was always someone in charge of my well being. I am very grateful to Dr. Johnson and the personal touch he gave to making me whole once again, I cannot thank him enough
