Dr. Gautam Malhotra is a dedicated orthopedic surgeon specializing in upper extremity and hand surgery. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles, before moving to Chicago to pursue his medical degree at the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine. Following the completion of his MD, Dr. Malhotra undertook a rigorous orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Chicago, which was followed by a fellowship in hand, upper extremity, and microsurgery at the same institution.
With expertise in managing a wide range of conditions, Dr. Malhotra treats acute trauma, including fractures, tendon and nerve injuries, sports-related injuries, as well as chronic conditions such as arthritis, tendinitis and nerve impingement. Dr. Malhotra approaches each case with the same compassion and attention to detail as he would for a family member, ensuring apersonalized treatment plan that aligns with each patient’s unique needs.
